Neutron Detectors - based on BF3 / HE3 probes or 6LiF-covered Silicon diodes

This category includes the neutron detectors from our portfolio. Depending on the amount and quality of information provided about the stray radiation field, they can be divided in: Dose rate meters, which provide the information on-line (LUPIN 5401 NP). Multi-sphere neutron spectrometer, which provide the information about the energy distribution of the neutron field off-line, by using a dedicated unfolding software (BONNER SPHERE SPECTROMETER). Single-sphere neutron spectrometer (SP2). In this section are presented the radiation detectors used for personnel, hand held search instruments and radionuclides identifiers. 1. Personal Radiation Detectors (PRDs) are pager size pocket high sensitive devices for the search for the nuclear and radioactive materials. The high sensitivity and fast response time to the variations in the ambient radiation levels clearly distinguish PRDs from family of the electronic dosimeters which are mainly used for the precise dose and dose rate measurements. The PRDs are carried in pockets or clipped to a belt. They automatically monitor environment and alert user in case of the radiation danger. 2. We offer a broad line of hand-held search instruments for detecting alpha, beta, gamma and neutron radiation, and precise measuring of the radiation level.
